Technology

How It Works — Gleagle's Technology Edge

The Physics: Active Electromagnetic Feedback

Magnetic levitation operates on a simple principle: a magnetic field counteracts gravity. However, Earnshaw's Theorem proves that static magnetic fields alone cannot achieve stable, full-axis levitation — active correction is required. The PU3000G solves this with an advanced electromagnetic suspension system: Hall effect sensors sample the floating disc's position thousands of times per second, a microprocessor computes the correction vector, and electromagnetic coils adjust their drive current in microseconds. This sense → compute → correct loop runs continuously, keeping the object suspended in equilibrium regardless of load distribution.

1. Hall Sensor Detection

Samples X/Y/Z-axis position thousands of times per second with micron-level precision.

2. PID Computation

Signal amplified and processed in real time, 4-channel correction vectors calculated.

3. H-Bridge Drive

Coil pairs adjust drive current within microseconds to maintain centered stability.

4. Deep Feedback Closed Loop

Auto-tunes levitation distance for varying loads. 15+ engineers, 100+ patents, in-house R&D.

The Competitive Advantage: Why Gleagle's Self-Developed Chip Matters

Most magnetic levitation modules on the market use off-the-shelf single-coil solutions with limited stability at higher payloads. Single-coil designs suffer from thermal buildup during sustained operation, leading to drift and eventual levitation failure.

The PU3000G takes a fundamentally different approach. Gleagle's proprietary self-developed control chip integrates a 4-channel Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) architecture — each of the four horizontal electromagnetic coil pairs is driven by its own independent feedback loop with a dedicated Hall sensor. This architecture:

Everything is developed in-house: PCB design, firmware, control algorithms, and coil winding are all done by Gleagle's 15+ R&D engineers. No outsourced core technology. This is backed by 100+ patents across magnetic levitation control systems, coil architecture, thermal management, and magnetic circuit optimization — intellectual property unmatched by generic suppliers.

Guide

Operating Instructions

From the official Gleagle user manual. Practice is recommended — you will find the balance point with ease after a few attempts.

1
Set Up the Base

Place the base on a flat surface free from ferromagnetic or magnetic materials. Connect the cable to the base, then plug the adapter into your outlet (100–240V AC). Turn on the power.

2
Find the Balance Point

Hold the magnet disc over the base at about 20cm (8 inches), aligning it vertically with the center. Slowly move it downward — the balance point is approximately 46mm (standard) or 55mm (PU3000G+) above the base surface.

3
Release Gently

As you feel the magnet become almost weightless — neither falling nor being pushed away — release the magnet gently. If it falls, start over from Step 2. Do not be discouraged if you encounter challenges at the start.

4
Place Your Object

Once the disc is levitating stably, gently place your object on the magnet, ensuring it aligns vertically with the center. If the disc becomes unstable and falls, protect the base with foam padding and try again.

— From the User Manual: TIPS
It might require some practice to operate correctly initially. If you encounter challenges at the start, do not be discouraged; try again. You will soon find the balance point with ease.

The magnet disc might detach and strike the base forcefully, potentially damaging its surface. For protection, consider placing a soft plate on the base before attempting levitation. Auto-shutoff: The PU3000G's built-in temperature sensor automatically cuts power when the base temperature exceeds the safety threshold. If levitation fails after several attempts, wait at least one minute before retrying.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum weight the PU3000G can levitate?

The PU3000G supports 0–3000g (3kg) in standard configuration with up to 46mm float gap. The PU3000G+ custom variant achieves up to 55mm float gap at reduced payload (0–500g). Contact our engineering team for heavier custom configurations up to 15kg using top-type architecture.

Can I get a sample or order just 1 unit?

Yes. MOQ is 1 unit for standard PU3000G modules. Evaluation samples ship within 1 business day via DHL/FedEx/UPS. We encourage B2B buyers to test a sample before placing bulk orders.

Do you offer OEM/ODM customization?

Yes. Gleagle provides full OEM/ODM customization. We can tailor magnet disc size, float gap, load capacity, coil winding, housing design, PCB layout, firmware, and branding. Custom lead time is 30–45 business days including prototype approval and individual factory calibration.

What makes the PU3000G different from generic levitation modules?

Unlike generic single-coil designs, the PU3000G uses Gleagle's proprietary self-developed control chip with PLL 4-channel closed-loop architecture. Four independently-driven electromagnetic coil pairs actively correct lateral drift and tilt in real time — eliminating the thermal buildup common in single-coil solutions. 100+ patents.

What kinds of products can the PU3000G levitate?

Almost anything regular-shaped and non-ferromagnetic within the 3kg payload. Customers have levitated: sneakers and footwear, champagne and liquor bottles, cosmetics and perfume jars, watches and jewelry boxes, action figures and anime figurines, car models and diecast collectibles, soccer balls and sports equipment, helmets and headwear, trophies and medals, candles and aromatherapy diffusers, packaged food and beverage cans, smartphones and tablets, small artworks and sculptures, religious items (crosses, Buddha statues), eternal flowers, toy wands, and promotional merchandise. The module works best with objects that have a balanced center of mass and no iron content.

What are the requirements for the object to be levitated?

Objects should be regular-shaped for balanced suspension and must not contain iron or ferromagnetic materials — these interfere with the electromagnetic field. The floating magnet disc is embedded in a custom carrier or directly attached to the object. Our engineering team helps determine optimal magnet placement and carrier design for your product. For irregular-shaped or very lightweight objects, additional counterweight or balancing fixtures may be required.

What industries and applications use the PU3000G?
