How to Choose a Levitating Display Platform

Magnetic levitation display platforms are a universal floating display solution, compatible with PU300G~PU3000G systems. Higher payload capacity means greater float distance, larger physical dimensions, and a noticeable price increase. Finding the right balance of performance and cost is key.

1. Determine Weight

Leave a 1/3 weight margin for best performance. Example: PU300G max 300g, but we recommend under 200g. Full load reduces float gap significantly.

2. Check Material

Magnetic or iron-rich materials disrupt the field and break self-balancing — not suitable. Test your product before committing.

3. Keep Size Reasonable

Even within the weight limit, oversize objects create lateral forces that destabilize levitation. Smaller = more stable.

4. Find Center of Gravity

Place the object's center of gravity (not geometric center) at the tray center, or the object may spin too fast or lose balance.

5. About Rotation

Rotation is driven by Newton force decomposition — not precisely controllable. A slight gravity offset creates horizontal force at unpredictable speed.

6. Choose a Base

Under 300g: standard square/round molds, multiple colors. Above 300g: square acrylic recommended for cost-effectiveness. Custom shapes are expensive.
